All
students at Greenvale Secondary College are placed into a G5 Mentor
Group. This allows them to build trusting relationships with a group of
peers and have a trusted adult to oversee their learning and progress.
The
G5 Mentor Teacher is the first point of contact for students and parents at the
school. G5 Mentor Teachers assist students and families with holistically with
concerns about wellbeing, academic progress, uniform, behaviour and
communication to other areas of the College.
All
students have 10 mins per day with their G5 Mentor teacher. Each day begins
with the G5 Mentor teacher and group, who assist students with a positive
‘Ready To Learn’ start to the day.
